RenDDP
For a while already there has been a possibility to add graphics to text boxes which was sorely needed. It works as expected, but for one small thing: I can't do vertical alignment of symbols to text and all symbols seem to be "superscript" and thus make line spacing larger. I'd not be surprised to learn that feature exists, but I just couldnt find it. Could anyone give me a hint, please.
RenDDP
And to further clarify, this is easy to replicate. Have 10 pt text. Make 5 x 5 mm picture box. Cut & paste the picture box in the text. Layers will show that as "inline text" graphics layer like it should. But the boxes lower bounding border is aligned with the lower end of the text. And as the artwork is always smaller than bounding box, the result is that artwork is clearly higher than the texts centerline. This creates extra 2 mm or so of unneeded (and weird looking) gap in text lines and isnt really something I can publish.

"And as the artwork is always smaller than bounding box," It must be the artwork is not the right size in the Picture Frame or has an alpha channel. This is what I see after following your instructions. I place an image into the Picture frame after I had put it in the text as an Inline image. Wosven
Optically, it always "feel" smaller or higher than the baseline (because of lighter colour than the black or dark text), I usually correct this decreasing the baseline of the object until it "feels" right and use a special character style if needed.
