jackamus
A is the chosen colour. B Is the colour from using the eye dropper. As you can see it is darker. C Selecting A and using Edit>Copy> then selecting C Edit>Paste style the result is the same as A which is what I want. Why doesn't the colour picker do this? Once upon a time Affinity always did it OK so maybe I've upset some settings? Colour picker.afdesign Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! Staff Lee D Posted May 22, 2015 Staff Share Posted May 22, 2015 Hi jackamus, Just to confirm after you have used the colour picker are you then clicking on the swatch next to the colour picker to apply the colour? Thanks Lee
jackamus
Thanks Lee, I first choose the colour and apply it to the shape. I then use the eyedropper to select the colour that shows in the circle to the left of the eyedropper. I then select the new shape and click on the small circle to the right of the eye dropper. It is this colour that is always darker. Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the obedience of fools. Staff Lee D Posted May 22, 2015 Staff Share Posted May 22, 2015 Hi jackamus, Just in case some settings have changed can you open the program up while holding down the CTRL key. When prompted click Select All and then Clear, once the program has opened can you try the colour picker again.
