Brush edge visibility

Hi. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here, but when I use a brush (of any kind) in Affinity Photo for iPad, I can't see the edge of the brush, which is only visible while I am selecting a brush size. It makes no difference whether I am using a finger or an Apple Pencil. Am I missing a trick here? Many thanks for your help.

Hi, is this still not a thing? It's kind of impossible to draw and erase when I can't see the size of my brush.

Unfortunately there's been no further update from our developers regarding this currently, I'll be sure to 'bump' the development log for you now

Does anyone know if this has been fixed? Right now the only way to tell the effective size of your brush at any given time is to adjust the brush size, then undo that adjustment. 

 

Does this mean that Affinity Photo for iPad is a professional photo editing app where you (literally) always have to guess your brush size? Would that also mean that you've suggested that working professionals use the "invisible brush" as an alternative to a visible brush? What are the expectations here?

This is logged with our developers as an improvement for a future version, which means we're unable to provide any estimates for when this may be implemented, my apologies.

I will be sure to add your comments to this development log, as I can certainly understand your frustration here.

I can confirm that unfortunately this is still logged with our developers as a requested improvement - I will be sure to add a 'vote' to this feature for you now, though we cannot provide any ETA at this time, my apologies.

The problem already existed with version 1. Now I have version 2 and the problem is still not solved. Please finally take care of it, it's important. Not only for me. And please don't treat this as an improvement but as a necessity. Thank you
