  1. Does anyone know if this has been fixed? Right now the only way to tell the effective size of your brush at any given time is to adjust the brush size, then undo that adjustment. Does this mean that Affinity Photo for iPad is a professional photo editing app where you (literally) always have to guess your brush size? Would that also mean that you've suggested that working professionals use the "invisible brush" as an alternative to a visible brush? What are the expectations here?
  2. Thanks Dan. Yes I can confirm - the raster issue is affected by manually selecting color profile instead of "same as document", even though I manually select the same profile as the doc. I sent the file over. I've attached an image pointing out the issue on this file, but similar problems happen with other files as well.
  3. I'm working with a big client on package design and I've been using Designer for the first time. The problem is getting it to the printers and/or working with anyone else that doesn't use designer. Many places want an AI or PDF file with vectors only. When creating print files sometimes things rasterize, sometimes they don't. I've noticed it depends on things that normally wouldn't be an issue. For example, when attempting to export to PDF without any rasterization, some areas will rasterize or not depending on the ICC color profile. If I select "same as document" I get rasterization. If I manually match it to the matching document profile, no rasterization on that same area. Additionally, any organization of layers and objects gets thrown out the window. That means on export I have to go open it in Illustrator and reorganize it into groups. I'm not using layer fx, but I did try to use the transparency tool. It seems as though others are running into the same problem- it can be hard to maintain properties (transparency, color, etc.) AND only use vectors. I can't finish this project without Illustrator, which defeats the purpose of using Designer. I need to prepare a print file with layers or groups indicating which finishes go where (organized), accurate colors, and no rasterization. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
  4. I've been using designer for about a week now, and today I noticed one of my fonts isn't displaying the font weights correctly. The font is Red Hat Display and I downloaded it from google fonts. I've checked all over the forums for a solution with no luck. I've attached a screenshot where you can see that all of my font weights are now turned to "light" or "light italic". I'm on the latest version of windows 10 (as of jan 24 2022) and latest version of designer as well. It works fine everywhere else I've tried and is installed and displayed correctly in Windows. I tried reinstalling the fonts. I restarted my computer as well. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!
