punkyprintcat Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 I'm using pageplus version 9. When I export to PDF (which, obviously, I need to to do to get design work printed) there is an obvious colour shift from what is appearing in the programme itself. The colours lose brightness and are obviously being rendered differently in the PDF. I've googled this and it appears to be (a) common and (b) not confined to pageplus. I tried various things to correct it but nothing seems to work. The PDF flashes up the warning and if you proceed the colours are changed. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem and, if so, please do a simple step by step guide. Quote
Dan C Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 Hi punkyprintcat, Welcome to the Affinity forums Unfortunately this is designed for supporting the Affinity apps from Serif, not the Legacy Plus apps, my apologies. Please create a ticket from the following link for technical support regarding PagePlus x9, many thanks in advance!http://support.serif.com/Main/frmNewTicket.aspx Quote

Loss of brightness suggests that you’re using the RGB colour space in your design but then publishing to PDF for print using CMYK. The CMYK colour space has a much smaller gamut, and bright colours (especially green and orange) are among the casualties.
