Convert to 300 dpi

The old version or the new version provides an area to convert an  image to 300 dpi.  My images are typically in 72 dpi. When I attempt to convert, they remain at 72dpi!  how do I convert to the 300 dpi.

In Photo: Document > resize document > 300 dpi (remember to set up pixel size) an then, when you add next photo to document just right click and "rasterize"

In Designer and Publisher: usually document is set up to 300 dpi as default, just click "rasterize" on picture or resize picture dragging the corner to get 300 dpi value

Welcome to the forums

It sounds as though you're working with embedded (Image) layers, if you rasterise the layer into a (Pixel) layer in a 300DPI document (as souacz has mentioned above) then you will see your image is converted to 300DPI. I hope this helps!
