chrislofotos Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Am I able to revert back to version affinity photo 1.6 on my Mac, if so how do I go about it? I have no problems with the old version as it suits my limited workflow, especially as the Nik Collection filters don't work with 1.7 and I don't particularly want to pay out for something that is perfectly adequate for me. I'm also having problems with my keyboard shortcuts in this new version. Many thanks Quote
Bad_Wolf Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 When removing the 1.7 version from your computer and then using the old .1.6 installer version, would that do not the trick? This is just out of the top of my head because I did not do it myself. Hope this works. Chris Quote
AGLAGLAGL Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I back up my iMac using Time Machine. Went back to the day before updating to 1.7 Restored the Affinity Photo.app file. Selected keep both. I now have the old and new versions available. Quote
chrislofotos Posted June 10, 2019 Author Posted June 10, 2019 Many thanks for the replies, will try the Time Machine back up, this will be the first time I've used it so hope it works! Quote
chrislofotos Posted June 10, 2019 Author Posted June 10, 2019 Just to thank you once again, have now restored the previous version from Time Machine and have both versions now. Quote
Paul Loh Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 I am quite disappointed with version 1.7. And I have it on both my iMac and MacBook Pro. So far my experience with Clone, Healing and Denoise functionalities have been very bad. Its making me to consider reverting back to Photoshop. I did not back up v 1.6. Is there anyway to restore v1.6? Quote
