jmiteff
I have an HDR 4k monitor. I've upgraded to Affinity 1.7. I'm loading a 32 bit image. But, the Enable HDR is grayed out and cannot be enabled. Any ideas? Thanks. Edited June 8, 2019 by jmiteff
Nades
Hi did you find a solution to this as yet? Same issue my side and feel like I'm missing something here.
Mark Ingram
@jmiteff / @Nades, what monitors do you have? Are you on Windows 10? If you type "Windows HD Colour Settings" into the start menu, and then choose your monitor from the drop down, is the "Play HDR games and apps" slider enabled? What capabilities are listed (above the slider)? Your graphics card (and driver) also need to support FP16. jmiteff

Sounds like you're on a laptop, so it will depend if your laptop screen is HDR or not.

I am, will double check as the info I was given when buying was that it is an HDR. Thanks!

Ah OK - if that's the case you should be able to see the Windows HD Colour Settings dialog then. In Affinity Photo we can use any GPU for rendering, so it may be that you need to change the GPU in Preferences for the option to enable.
