glennh1489
I have Affinity Designer 1.6.1 and Affinity 1.6.7 installed on Mac mini running macOS 10.14.4. I have low vision, so I work a a lower screen resolution than most people, but my 1280 x 800 resolution is within the stated minimum of 1280 x 768. I'm going on a trip and will be using a portable monitor with a few less vertical lines (720p, 1280 x 720). Will my applications still work or will they refuse to run? Thanks in advance for your response.
glennh1489
I should have tried this first: hooked up the portable monitor. Both apps run on the 1280 x 720 resolution. I didn't see any issue with Designer. Photo has a minor issue - doesn't show the Zoom tool (left, bottom) even in full screen mode. That's not a big deal, since there are other ways to zoom. stokerg
Staff stokerg Posted June 7, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 7, 2019 Hi glennh1489 and Welcome to the Forums, Great that you've found out both apps work at that resolution

You should be able to get that or any other tools to show that won't fit in the Tools panel if you go to View menu > Customize Tools (not Customize Toolbar) & set the panel to use 2 columns. Of course, that will use more screen width so it may not be worth doing.
