camera bug Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 When using decorative fonts such as Mirosa, these are displayed correctly in Affinity Designer, but truncated when printed. There is no other layer close to the text. Is this a user mistake or a bug? Quote
Staff Gabe Posted June 7, 2019 Staff Posted June 7, 2019 Hi @camera bug, I cannot replicate this. Can you please supply your project file? Thanks, Gabe. Quote
camera bug Posted June 8, 2019 Author Posted June 8, 2019 Hi Gabe, If I export the document as a pdf file and print the pdf file, the printout works without problems. I therefore assume that this issue is not due to the printer. When printing directly from Affinity Designer (1.7.0367, Win10), the font is truncated as shown in my first post. Example file is attached. Stephan Truncated_Fonts.afdesign Quote
Staff Gabe Posted June 10, 2019 Staff Posted June 10, 2019 I could still not replicate this, even with your file. It prints just fine. Try this: On the print dialogue, go to Rasterisation and tick Rasterise entire page. See if that makes any difference. Quote
camera bug Posted June 15, 2019 Author Posted June 15, 2019 Rasterisation makes the difference - the printout is fine with this option. Quote
Staff Gabe Posted June 18, 2019 Staff Posted June 18, 2019 Perhaps it's a driver issue and only related to that printer, as I could not replicate it. I will still log it with our developers though just in case. What Printer have you got? Quote
camera bug Posted June 18, 2019 Author Posted June 18, 2019 EPSON ET-4550 Printer driver is the latest version. Quote
