Richard Liu
The document and camera information (just underneath the Personas in the upper left corner of the screen) disappear after some time. I am not sure what causes that, but it is particularly annoying now that 1.7 is proving rather flakey, causing me to wonder in what color space I am working. walt.farrell
I believe that Context Toolbar information is only there when you have the View Tool (the hand) selected, the same way that 1.6 worked. It won't be there for other tools. Would that explain what you're seeing? Richard Liu
It could explain it. I had never noticed that behavior in 1.6. Perhaps I noticed it in 1.7 because the first problem I experienced with the upgrade was the behavior of the Soft Proof adjustment layer. I had opened a document on which I had been working before I upgraded, so I knew that the Check Gamut option should display large swatches of grey. When they didn't appear, I began to wonder about the color space of the document and discovered that that information wasn't where I expected it to be. I'll pay closer attention to it from now on. You're probably right. walt.farrell 1 Quote Richard Liu MacBook Pro 16" 2021 M1 Max | macOS 12.3.1 | BenQ SW271 | Affinity Photo 1.10.
Staff Andy Somerfield Posted June 7, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 7, 2019 Hi, We are aware of the Gamut Check issue - it works if you disable Metal Compute in preferences (as a workaround). We hope to fix this quickly - hopefully sometime early next week. Thanks, A
Richard Liu
Hi @Andy Somerfield, Your reply to my report of the Gamut Check issue has be posted to the wrong thread. No wonder I couldn't find it in that thread. Any possibility of posting it there?
