jcharles
Hi - I am curious if Affinity works on a Macbook Pro. I upgraded my Macbook Pro to Mojave today. Everything works surprisingly well, no glitches. So then I downloaded Affinity Pro Photo. I figured out how to load Affinity and open photographs. But I have a problem with cropping. When I select the crop tool, all is well until I try to click and drag one of the crop handles. I click, and it's as if the program doesn't even recognize that I have clicked. I should say that I am clicking and holding down, the same way you click and drag anything with a Macbook. But the crop box just sits there and does nothing. I'm perplexed. Any ideas? Everything works surprisingly well, no glitches You were lucky, common issues I've found on Mojave upgrade are: Ridiculously slow startup times Safari tab flicker, also changes to black Office displaying a blank document but the text is there (can be fixed by validating fonts and or changing the Display profile from iMac to sRGB IEC1966 2.1 and on occasion changing the resolution to scaled and then back again to default for display) A screwed up spotlight (will not list apps) Affinity apps are compatible with Mojave and MacBooks. As for your problem, have you quit Affinity and restarted and tried again? Staff Lee D Posted June 5, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 5, 2019 Once you have selected the Crop Tool, if you move the cursor over and around one of the nodes, does the cursor icon change? Can you do a screen recording showing the issue?

Still no joy on the scratch pad. That's okay; the mouse is better for photo editing anyway. Maybe someday I'll figure out how to get the scratchpad to work.
