John Lewin
Is there any way to bake the rotation for a curve into the points such that the Rotation field resets to 0 but path and points remain the in the current position? When exporting to SVG the extra matrix/transform is undesired and ideally I wish to apply and commit the rotation. Thanks! Brian M

John Lewin
Thanks for the suggestion. I also stumbled across this on the Reset Bounding Box question below, and like you thought it worked, only to find it had no lasting effect -- deselecting and selecting the path just brings back the original rotation. I reread question and have been tinkering around with techniques that might work and found that if you join two paths and then break them, you get the result I was hoping for
gdenby
Make a copy of the path. Add it to itself. Do a divide. That resets the box. If you have an open curve, as illustrated, that will close, and need breaking/deleting.
