Hi there,

I am fairly new to Affinity Photo,  I've switched this year from using Photoshop or legacy version of it for over 25 years.  I've recently started work on a mock-up home page and am experiencing issue re-accessing the file to keep working on it.   Strange behaviour:

  • Icon keeps bouncing in the dock.
  • A grey box saying Updating File keeps appearing as if on a loop.
  • The screenshot is shown here: http://prntscr.com/nm2sj5

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Hi there,  Thank you both for your replies.  I thought I was doing something wrong in the way I was embedding my images.  I tested your theory Stokerg yesterday and brought in the file locally but I couldn't get the other file from the cloud to close but with that forum thread you shared Carl123 I was able to duplicate the CMD-W just at the right time.   Now I have a workaround so that's good.  I appreciate your replies.
