Rokko
Hi, my macros all suddenly disappeared while I was working on some pictures. I have reinstalled the latest 1.6.5 version, but doesn't even load the standard macros - check pic attached. I use Windows 10. Any suggestions? walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, Rokko. There are two kinds of macro files for Affinity Photo: A file which contains 1 macro, and should have a file name ending in .afmacro (no "s" at end). You import these into the Macro panel (View> Studio > Macro). A file which contains multiple macros, and should have a file name ending in .afmacros (with an "s"). You import these into the Library panel (View > Studio > Library). You may be trying to import a .afmacros file into the Macro panel, which will not work. You need to use the Library panel. Thanks but it doesn't import anything. Tried on both panels. They just disappeared while I was working on a picture! When I try to import that error shows. Is a preferences file that I can delete? It might be just that Edited April 30, 2019 by Rokko
carl123
Close APhoto Goto %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0\user\ There you will find a file called macros.propcol Rename that file to something else Restart APhoto In the library panel you should now have the default macros back. I think there are 5 of them If OK, reinstall your macro pack via the Library panel If you see the default macros but the macro pack will still not install it may be corrupted so upload it here for testing (assuming it was not a paid for macro pack) Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Maybe it's a bug that should be looked after for the future updates. Thanks Edited April 30, 2019 by Rokko
