I've been using Affinity  Design Beta for a while now and have downloaded all the brushes that I use regularly in my work. My question is: Once this Beta is over will Affinity design simply transition into

the current product. Whereby I can keep using Affinity Design as I currently have it set up with all my brushes, or must I redownload a new Affinity design and start all over again ?

The beta & retail versions are two separate apps that can be run independently of each other, so each one stores its brushes, styles, etc. independently of the other. That means any brushes that are only stored in the beta will no longer be available if & when the beta quits working because it has been superseded by the 1.7 retail version.

To avoid that problem, you can (& I think should) export your brushes from the beta & import them into the retail version now. Better yet, create all your brushes in the retail version to begin with, & export as needed to the beta.

Just as a reminder, the betas are not intended for critical work or anything you cannot afford to lose.
