watson.lea Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Used the tool but tried to select and it only selects the photo. If I try to select the selected area and move or cut it, the photo just moves or is cut. How do I use this function and just select the area I used the selection tool on? Quote
firstdefence Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Right-click on the layer and select Rasterise. R C-R Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 The rasterization step is needed because your photo is in an "(Image)" type of layer, probably because you placed or dropped it into an Affinity document window instead of just opening it as a new document, which would have made it a "(Pixel)" type of layer.
