Help required to create a specific texture pattern

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, and new to Affinity Designer. I have no experience with any other vector drawing programes so I really am a total Noob!

Please can anyone explain how I might create the texture pattern attached?

Hi John and Welcome to the Forums,

I'd suggest making a start with some of the tutorials so you can get used to the different tools in Designer.

For something like this, you'd likely need to subtract circles from a shape using the boolean options but i'm sure if anyone else has another method of doing something like this they will post shortly.
