gmbike Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Hallo Team I`ve got the new camera Lumix S1R and can not open the .RW2 File in the develop persona. Can ever one help me. I`m a little pit frustrated. So I hope every one can support me an my new device. Thanks a lot Quote
Staff Lee D Posted March 27, 2019 Staff Posted March 27, 2019 Hi gmbike, Welcome to the forums. Unfortunately the Lumix S1R isn't on our supported RAW list. If you're running Affinity Photo on macOS, you may find Apple update their RAW engine built into the OS before us. If this does happen you can switch the RAW engine over to theirs in the Develop Personas Assistant. Quote
gmbike Posted March 27, 2019 Author Posted March 27, 2019 sorry i use the software unter windows. Is there a way to develope this type of file? Quote
Staff MEB Posted March 27, 2019 Staff Posted March 27, 2019 Hi gmbike, Welcome to Affinity Forums Unfortunately there's no way around this for now. Adobe DNG converter also doesn't support them so it's not possible to convert them to DNG files. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
gmbike Posted March 29, 2019 Author Posted March 29, 2019 Can you establish when it is possible to work with the .rw2 files in affinity develop persona? Quote
agatar Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Hi I got S1 too ( not R though ). The only solution at the moment is to download program recommended by Panasonic... It is called SILKYPIX. We need to wait for Affinity to implement it... hopefully soon... Having not Affinity capable to work on my pictures is like loosing all tools from my garage... Quote
ger3703 Posted April 22, 2019 Posted April 22, 2019 I also got the Panasonic S1 and would like to see this implemented into affinity. It's hard not to switch to adobe since it now now supports the files. Please add support for these files! Quote
