Problem with font color of a jpeg on Mac

Recommended Posts

Hi there, my name is Rin..

I pasted a jpeg of my brand logo in a document The logo is the company name Jora ,Right now the whole thing is black, and I need to change it to red and gold. How to separate the letters and image to make each a different color? When I use the simple process of selecting the jpeg with the move tool, and clicking on the color palate, it only outlines the image in color, rather than filling the entire image as that color. Also, it of course tears the entire image as one item, so I’m not clear how to designate different colors for each part of the logoสล็อตฝากขั้นต่ำ 100

Thanks in advance

Hi Rin,

You are using a flattened image which makes this more difficult. I recommend using the Selection tool to select each element of your image and then change the colours.

Thanks

Assuming that the logo comprises black letters on a white background, you can overlay a red or gold rectangle and change the layer blend mode to ‘Screen’ to colour the letters while leaving the background white. Place this ‘white background’ version on top a rectangle filled with the other colour, and use the ‘Erase White Paper’ filter in Affinity Photo (or use blend ranges in either app) to make the white background transparent so that the colour of the rectangle shows through.
