Put the first TAB marker on desired position and by hitting "Repeat TAB" button the other TABs are created and distributed evenly. The number of TABs depends from the number of selected elements separated by TABs. (Re)positioning the TABs could be done by: slider moving the first TAB marker to the new position and pressing the "Repeat TAB" again, or by manually entering a number for better precision. I set the default tab stop to 1 inch, then clicked on the + (plus sign) button under the Apply box to get tabs set at 1-inch increments.
