djockim
Hi, I imported Helvetica Neue in my computer (Windows 10) from dfont file, using a converter. Font are available in the Windows Font Library in 11 differents styles (thin, thin italic, light, regular, medium, etc...). I can use them in another programm (Scribus) However AD show only 3 style instead of the 11. see screenshot below (styles font are duplicate, may be du to the several manipulation I did to fix the issue...) Any idea how to fix it ? Thanks
Staff stokerg Posted March 21, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 21, 2019 Hi djockim, If i'm right a dfont file is a font file for a Mac and i suspect it will have been the conversation that would of caused this issue. Also they really shouldn't be listed twice in the Windows Font section. I suspect it will be the conversion thats caused the issue and can only suggest trying to find a ttf/otf version of the font. More info about dfont files here -- basically they are not cross-platform compatible. stokerg 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.5.5 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.
