WCarver Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Hi all! Brand new to affinity and the forum. Silly question probably, but do the free micro packs, once downloaded, apply themselves to the software automatically? I would hate to miss out on anything. Thanks! Quote
Staff stokerg Posted March 16, 2019 Staff Posted March 16, 2019 Hi WCarver and Welcome to the Forums, If you check this guide out it covers getting the Macros into Photo WCarver 1 Quote
WCarver Posted March 16, 2019 Author Posted March 16, 2019 Thank you so much for the link, took me a second but I got it! So once they've all been loaded how can I put them to use? Will I have to access the macro files or will they sort themselves into the appropriate section in the software. Hope that's not too confusing of a question. Thanks all! Quote

The guide that @stokerg referred you to explains how you install the macros into their various categories in the Library, and then tells you how you would apply them. It might be worthwhile for you to look in the Affinity Photo Help at the Macros section (also available online), or look at the Affinity Photo Tutorials, especially the one about Macros.
