Astro1 Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 I am considering the purchase of Affinity Photo Desktop Win to replace Photoshop. How does the update policy work? Quote
Bri-Toon Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Hi Astro1, All updates are free up until Affinity 2.x. We are currently on the beta of 1.7, and according to what an Affinity staff member has said, versions will go beyond 1.9, and all the features on the roadmap will be implemented in the 1.x range. So we still have a long way to go before the first paid update. Quote The website is still a work in progress. The "Comics" and "Shop" sections are not yet ready. Feel free to connect with me and let me know what you like or what can be improved. You can contact me here, on my contact page, YouTube channel, or Twitter account. Thanks and have a great day!
Astro1 Posted March 12, 2019 Author Posted March 12, 2019 Thanks for the reply. One more question, how do you get the update. I didn't find a command in the program's functions Quote
John Rostron Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Each time you load the program, it checks to see if an update is available. If there is, it asks you if you would like to download it.
