Westrow Posted February 28, 2019 Share Posted February 28, 2019 Hi I have converted an image supplied in RGB to greyscale, to place in a book of (overwhelmingly) text, but no matter what I seem to do, when I export to PDF it seems to convert back to RGB. I am trying to export so everything is on one plate for printing. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug, (or something in development). File > Document Setup... . Choose the colour tab and just choose greyscale from there. Westrow Posted March 1, 2019 Author Share Posted March 1, 2019 Hi, thanks so much Old Bruce and fde 101 for replies. I do want the whole document greyscale, and I did (eventually!) find the document set up and change this to Grey/8 and Greyscale D50. I converted the image in affinity photo. I attach a screenshot. Just noticed - This image I exported as a jpg and placed this in the Publisher doc. Another image I placed the af file, and I think this worked. It's difficult to be certain because I'm relying on the reported comments of the prepress people at the printers.
