Cannot import image from Word document

I have a word document, created by Office lens, which contains text and an image. I cannot copy and paste the image into Affinity Designer or Affinity Photo.

I can import into Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as well as into Microsoft Paint 3d.  And I could save in Illusttrator and import into Affinity designer.

I just wonder if this is a known problem or am I doing something wrong. 

I attached the Word document with  the image and the text deleted.

 

Thanks for any ideas. As I have said, I can use Illustrator as an intermediary App. but  I would prefer to paste directly

Hi Gerard O,

The frame that your image is in isn't supported by Affinity. However if you select the actual image itself you should be able to copy and paste it into Affinity.

I hadn't realised that there was a frame around the image.

It is working now thanks. Just need to clean up!
