mindfakir Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 I am trying to arrange multiple photos on a document and want them to sized at a precise length rather than sizing them by clicking and dragging. Please Suggest. Quote
HVDB Photography Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 HI mindfakir, View > Studio > Transform ,unlock the aspect ratio and change the width to need. But you'll still need to drag them in place !! mindfakir 1 Quote Affinity Photo 2.3.1 Laptop MSI Prestige PS42 Windows 11 Home 23H2 (Build 22631.3007) - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz 2.00 GHz - RAM 16,0 GB
R C-R Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 By "a precise length" do you mean you want to stretch or shrink just the width or height of the photos, which would change the aspect ratio & possibly make them look odd, or scale both width & height proportionally to avoid that? Also, do all the photos have the same aspect ratio even if they are not the same size, & do you want to crop any of them rather than or in addition to resizing them to get them all to the same size? Depending on what it is you want to do, one very flexible way to do it is to clip Placed photos into rectangles, with the rectangles set to the width & height you want. The technique is demonstrated in the Affinity Photo - Clipping vs Masking video tutorial, beginning at about 2:30. The placed photos can be resized & moved around within the rectangles to crop them as needed, & the process is non-destructive. mindfakir 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7
