I am new to Affinity Photo and am overwhelmed trying to find an answer.  In searching the web I see that in Photoshop and AI you can create "fancy " letters such as "golden" or floral.  Can this be done in AP?  Where do I go to find help to do this?  Can be text or video I just don't really know what to look for.  Help please

Go to YouTube.com and type..

Affinity Photo text effect

...in the search box

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Search the Web via Google ...

Look into the forums resources section (and here)

Thanks so much.  I knew it could be done.  One more question.  What is the easiest way to find "how to's"?  For example this "How To?"  And is there a written form that I could print and use as a guide to practice new skills?

Thanks

Well what you call "HowTo's" or let's say tutorials, are mostly video demonstrations nowadays. Though there are also sites on the Web with Blogs and articles about how to do certain imaging/graphics things. For example you can find a lot of hints and tricks here in the forum, if you perform a forum search or a Web search after the topics you are interested in, just type in meaningful topic words for what you are searching (for example: "affinity photo create styles" etc.).

Other than that there are some explanation tutorials here ...

... access to the online help system (printable) is here ...

... in the forums resources section you can find some PDF versions of the help users made.

Related to printing, well it always depends on how things (a sites HTML contents etc.) are overall setup for this and how good a web browser can print or save that stuff then as let's say PDF.
