CrimsonLine
Hi! I purchased Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo last month through the Mac App Store. Then I got a Wacom Cintiq Companion 1 tablet. I would like to put the Affinity programs on the tablet, which runs Windows 10. Can I use the same license, or will I have to purchase the programs again in Windows format? Thanks! Denes
Staff MEB Posted February 11, 2019 Staff Share Posted February 11, 2019 Hi CrimsonLine, Welcome to Affinity Forums Each platform requires its own license, so yes, you have to acquire them for Windows as well. knowles
I have a related question. I've moved from Mac to Windows. Can I swap my Mac license (for Designer) for a Windows license? Thanks

Can I swap my Mac license (for Designer) for a Windows license? No I think it has to do with purchasing from the store's, i.e. you can't transfer a Microsoft licence to an apple licence, I'm sure MEB can explain better. Staff MEB Posted February 12, 2019 Staff Share Posted February 12, 2019 Hi knowles, Welcome to Affinity Forums No, sorry. It's not possible to swap licenses between platforms (no matter the store where you bought the app).
