ukelele Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 Hi, Just downloaded the trial version of Affinity Photo for Win 10 and it's not possible to install it. The install start ok but at the end it says "configuration error" and the software is not installed. Downloaded this version: affinity-photo-1.6.5.135.exe. Thanks. Quote

ukelele Posted February 11, 2019 Author Posted February 11, 2019 Hi, it's 64 bit Win 10. I run the installer also as administrator, but it exits with the same error. I have latest Affinity Designer installed and working without problems. Hardware: Intel NUC8i7BEH, 16GB RAM, SSD EVO. Thanks Quote

Could you please check your Windows 10 is up to date? If this does not help, please follow the .NET fix as explained in the below post - Quote

I found this error in the install log, in TEMP folder: "The cabinet file 'Main.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and can not be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package". Searched this "Main.cab" error and found this thread.
