kdock
Just downloaded the latest version and opened a project I created in a prior (but recent) version. I added to a text box and it automatically capitalized adjectives. The attached gif shows me typing, but also note that it had previously capitalized "blue" as well. If I go back and correct, it stays lower case. Kim Publisher Beta capitalizing adjective.mp4
walt.farrell
Do you have that same problem if you start with a new document, not "contaminated" by that broken previous release of Publisher? (And, by "latest" do you mean 1.7.0.238, released just a few hours ago here in the forums?) -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. kdock
Yes. It seems as if there are certain words that Publisher wants to capitalize. I know I haven't added anything to the user spell-check, but I can try clearing it if there's a way to do that. And BTW, this didn't happen at all in the previous release. It may have been broken, but not in this way--for me, anyway. Kim
kdock
I tried to find some hint as to when the capitalization occurs, and got the following text box. Again, this is a new file in the latest version. Kim
kdock
Apparently I did not have the latest version. I had gone to the web site and downloaded just half an hour or so before posting, so... not sure what happened there. So you were correct, Walt. It was fixed in .238. Thanks, Kim walt.farrell
