photo: working with live mask preview

Hallo,

with my old photoshop I was used to work with the "live preview" of the masks on a layer, visible with ALT+SHIFT.

Is this possible with Affinity Photo?

Hi @Paolo192,

I'm not really sure I understand what you mean by "live preview". 

If you want to preview just the Mask, you can do this by alt+click on the mask thumbnail to reveal it.

when you press ALT+click on the mask, you can see ONLY the mask. Is it possible to see it and also the layer of the picture below, together?

Try the QuickMask on/off toggle button from the top button bar.

yes, but with this there is not the separated mask layer, am I wrong?

Quickmask only works on new selections, and not on already existing ones. I'm afraid that's all we've got at the moment. No live mask.
