fde101 Posted January 28, 2019 Share Posted January 28, 2019 It would be nice if there were a modifier that allowed me to drag an alignment handle to snap an edge of the objects while leaving the opposite edge anchored. In other words, if I drag the left alignment handle it aligns to the left by moving the object. If I were to, maybe, command+drag the left alignment handle, I would like the right edge of each object to stay where it is, and only the left edges to snap to the line indicated by the handle, scaling the object instead of moving it. Currently, I can align the left edges of objects or the right edges, but there is no way to use the alignment handles to make a set of objects the same width (or height). By aligning the left edges using the existing functionality then using the new modifier to align the right edges without moving the left edges the objects will be the same width.
