Wosven
Hi, In the new Bêta release I read: Quote Export PDF Export now exports greyscale images as K-only Added feature to recolour any image as K-only, and spot recoloured K-only images now export to PDF correctly I wasn't sure how it was done… si I did some tests, as usual. First thing, I'll explain how we did this usually in QXD or ID: we used bitmap images (only black and white infos), and later greyscale images. Clicking on the picture frame, we attribute a background colour (replacing the "white"), and selecting the image we attribute a colour (replacing the "black"). Once exported as PDF for print, there's no more black, but the 2 colours (or only one) on the corresponding plate. Differences between APub and ID (selecting the image, and choosing a colour in the swatches). In ID, I can choose one for the foreground (black), and one for the background (white) of the greyscale or bitmap images. Perhaps I didn't did it right… I did a tets with the Gradient Map adjutment too. Here the plates of APub and ID's PDF that export in CMYK with plates for the Pantones (only CMYK plates are shown)
Wosven
Ok, it's working! The option is a little difficult to find with Picture frames, since you need to select the picture frame with the Picture Frame Tool and click on the black arrow of this tool, or select the image inside the frame with the Move Tool (the option is visible if the image isn't in a picture frame). And it's working as expected (The last image only show CMYK plates, the violet and red Pantone are on their own plates, not visible).
