Kyuzo
Hello, first post, I'm looking for help selecting colors within a photo that are in a preset palette. I have done it (once) but cannot get it to work again. This is something I need to do every day, so critical issue for me. I know how to Select Sampled Color. What I need to do is use colors from the preset palette (set as an Application palette). I can only select colors within the photo. All help appreciated/
Kyuzo
Geez, just figured it out. The preset color has to be set as Background, not Foreground.
Kyuzo
I'm still doing something wrong. Pretty sure it has something to do with layer structure. Help?

The color is set according to what you choose. https://affinity.help/photo/English.lproj/pages/Clr/selectingClr.html Quote Affinity Store (MSI/EXE): Affinity Suite (ADe, APh, APu) 2.4.0.2301 Dell OptiPlex 7060, i5-8500 3.00 GHz, 16 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630, Dell P2417H 1920 x 1080, Windows 11 Pro, Version 23H2, Build 22631.3155. Kyuzo
Thanks Pšenda. The process works perfectly on a psd file I imported. It does not work on a tiff file I downloaded from the LoC. Any ideas?

Kyuzo
Yes, that's what I have. It has to be with the source image. Everything else seems to correspond to the file that works (psd).
Staff stokerg Posted January 17, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 17, 2019 Hi Kyuzo, Would you be able to attach the tiff file in question?
