Can't update Affinity Photo iOS

I purchased Affinity Photo for iOS from Mac App store 2017-12-08. The updates (via app store) have never downloaded and installed:  I touch the button and it sends the request, but the update is never delivered. I have 1.6.5.61; I note the latest update is 1.6.12. Can you please advise how I can get Affinity Photo for iOS to update.

Unfortunately we have no control over the Mac App Store version of the app. I recommend contacting the Apple Mac App Store Support Team for further help with this issue.

I didn't know it was possible to buy IOS app from the Mac App Store anymore, are you sure you did not actually purchase the Mac version of the software? The IOS version you have to buy on the IOS App Store using your iPad.
