Seancarrie Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 I bought a bunch of brush packs for affinity on my iPad and trying literally everything i can to unzip these .afbrushes files on my iPad and desktop cannot do it. How am i supposed to open these files to import them to affinity designer? Quote
DM1 Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Download the free iOS app called Documents (by Readdle). Copy the file to Documents and tap on it. The contents will be unzipped into a new folder. Open the Affinity app, go to brushes menu and tap import. Navigate to the Documents folder and tap brush file. Alternatively download a free unzipped like Unzip tool to unzip the file. Documents would be my first choice as it is well supported, free, ni iPad and does a lot of other useful things too. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Staff Lee D Posted January 14, 2019 Staff Posted January 14, 2019 If you login to your Affinity account and open the Download and Product Keys page using your iPad you can download the .afbrushes files instead of zip files. Another option would be to unzip them on a desktop and then transfer onto iCloud and then import into Affinity. Quote
