Metric measurments

I used Serif draw plus for years but now moved to Affinity. Big transition.

! Can anyone tell me if you can change the measurements to metric, if so how?

When setting up a new doc choose the desired metric. In an existing doc go to Documents menu and select resize. Tap the little white triangle at side of bottom context menu and the choose desired metric. Turn off Resample if changing anything else.

Thank you so much. I can’t amend an existing drawing it just reverts back to pt! It has worked in a new document so thank you very much.

would you know if there is a way to move a shape precisely rather than simply dragging with you finger?

You can use the transform panel. Either swipe across the X Y controllers or tap and enter a value in the keypad.

Select Resize, tap triangle at right side of context menu. Now select metric and deselect Resample. Tap white triangle on Right side of context menu and metrics have now changed. Tap tick to. Accept. Note You can't change permanently it on the initial context menu, only on the second menu.
