I've been using Designer for the better part of three years now and have run into almost no problems, but I can't for the life of me figure out why this project is not letting me spread these files out like I normally do. I have never had a problem with auto-spacing, and you can see in the clip that it does the spread just fine when I select the other groups. Clearly it's something to do with this one group in maroon, but I have no idea what it is. I recreated that group and pasted it into the document and got the same result. ??? Thanks for your help!

The first thing I have noticed is the maroon shirt isn't horizontally aligned, it sits slightly higher than the rest.

Is there any element within the maroon shirt that is clipped and actually goes outside the bounds of the shirt shape?

Can you upload an example file with say the maroon shirt and 4 blanks shirts?

Hi if I use the Alignment menu option I get what you get, if I use the distribute menu option I get what I assume you want.

Even though you have masked/clipped them, the 6 items selected below all extend far beyond the shirt's (left-hand) boundaries.

When doing the aligning these "extensions" are making the Maroon shirt appear much wider than it appears on screen, hence the alignment is wrong.

Not sure if that should be considered a bug or not, but you should be able to correct it quite easily

On the Maroon shirt, if you turn off the stripes on the arm it appears to spread better.

Beat me carl lol!
