I would welcome the addition of Spreadsheet functionality and am confident that it will be made available in the final release.

I am confident that spreadsheet functionality will be added to Affinity Publisher eventually, but I don’t expect to see it in the initial retail release. I think the best we can hope for is that it is added at some point during the 1.x development cycle.
