How would you add that red ribbon on the bottom of the green circle?

Oh im so sorry! i did not see that i got responses on that post!

Use the shape tools, create a rectangle and then two smaller triangles. Next you rotate and place the triangles accordingly equally sized on top of each of the rectangle ends, so the whole looks nearly like on your shown image. Then select in the layer panel the three shape objects (rect and the triangles) and perform a "Layer -> Geometry -> Substract" operation. You should be leaved with that ribbon part.
