Purchasing photo and designer for ipad

My iPad won't be delivered for another week. Is there any way to buy the app now during the black Friday sale?

If you contact Apple they can talk you through how to buy the app without owning a compatible device.

Hello.

Thanks for getting back to me. I contacted them and they said it could only be done with an apple device. You used to be able to buy apps through iTunes on the PC but they changed that.

I bought Designer and Photo for the PC before they went on sale, and I guess I'll get them for the iPad after the sale. At least I got the workbooks during the sale.   Either way, on sale or not, still great programs for a great price.

Thanks v_kyr, that was interesting to read. I hope it does change in the future, it seems unfair to the developers right now.
