When adjusting the Raw exposure, contrast levels (develop) i notice the screen flickers with "squares" over the image when it is adjusting the result.

This is not happening once is develop.

I have checked with both ORF and RAF files and is the same.

Is there any solution to this? Otherwise I am thinking about returning the product.

Is that the 2011 iMac?

What camera model have you got?

I thought this blocking was a feature of AP?  I see it with files from different models of Fuji, Nikon, Pentax and Panasonic and I'm running AP under Win 10 on an i7 (with a puny graphics card).

AP, AD & APub user, running Win10

What you see are just the rendering blocks. The slower your computer(or the bigger the files), the more pronounced this effect will be. Nothing to worry about.

Well,

It is very annoying, and only happens during the initial develop, not when adjusting (this excludes the performance of the graphics card as the cause).

Furthermore, it is not happening in other software like Luminar 2018 or Lightroom.

If there is no solution, I will consider returning the software.
