Littlepea85 Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Hello, I would like to make a photo b&W but would like to keep a certain part of it in colour to make it stand out more, is this possible? Thank you for your help Quote
dvoth Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Yes it is possible. Apply a B&W adjustment layer. This is also a mask layer so you can paint on the layer where you would like the colour to come through. Quote David Voth Affinity Photo, Designer and Publisher ver. 2: macOS Sonoma and iPadOS 17
ianrb Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 another way for something a little different desaturate to image using individual colour channel sliders move the colour channels sliders to bring back the colours you want to keep at saturations to suit There can be lots of variations available and experimenting is the best way to find that "something different" let us know how you went --- post the photo (??)
