Sort of.

You could convert that node to a Sharp (or Cusp) Node, but that would make the segment on the left a line, not a curve.

Although, if you then dragged on that line segment, it would become a curve again but the handles either side of your node would be independent, so would not move together.

What exactly do you want to do?

Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.

You marked the node, not the control handle to the right of it, but I presume you’re looking for the iPad equivalent of Alt-clicking on the handle to make it disappear. You don’t actually need to do that in order to achieve a straight line between the nodes: you just need to move the two facing handles so that they lie on the straight line.
