HughB Posted October 30, 2018 Share Posted October 30, 2018 I've just bought Affinity Photo and started experimenting. When I try to save an image the drop down menu in the dialogue box only offers me the choice of Affinity under file type. When you save under this file type the file can't be opened in either Affinity Phot or Photoshop. Why are there no other file types offered? Staff MEB Posted October 30, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 30, 2018 Hi HughB, Welcome to Affinity Forums To export to non-native file formats (PSD, JPG, TIFF etc) go to menu File ▸ Export... instead. Thread moved to Affinity on Desktop Questions (Mac and Windows) section. Affinity Photo should be able to open its own format .afphoto files without issues. Are you having trouble opening them?
