Toan Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Hi, I'm looking to resize a canvas but not sure how it's done in Affinity. I want to convert it from 1800x1200 to 600x1200 but only want the left side to be visible. See attached for a sample Normally in photoshop I would resize canvas then select the left arrow. Please advise. Thanks Quote
Staff MEB Posted October 29, 2018 Staff Posted October 29, 2018 Hi Toan, Welcome to Affinity Forums What Affinity app are you using Affinity Photo or Designer? If Photo (science you mentioned Photoshop) select the Crop Tool, set the Mode to Absolute Dimensions in the context toolbar, enter the dimensions you want in the input field immediately on the right, position the crop grid on canvas if necessary dragging it from inside the crop area (you may want to enable Snapping in the main toolbar - the magnet icon to help you snap the crop area to the canvas boundaries) then click the blue Apply button in the context toolbar to crop the canvas. Toan Posted October 29, 2018 Author Posted October 29, 2018 I'm using Affinity Photo. Thanks, this did exactly what I wanted but just different from what I'm used to. Quote
Fixx Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 You can resize canvas just like in Photoshop: Quote
