Nadar
Hello everyone Can someone explain to me how does history of the changes work when one click on the little clock at the bottom right ? One can indeed select a window or click on the camera at the very end. What is the difference ? Thanks Quote Ipad Affinity Photo
Staff Dan C Posted October 29, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 29, 2018 Hi Nadar I recommend you watch the following video - https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/tutorials/photo/ipad/video/286486578 The camera icon is for Snapshot work, such as when using the undo brush tool. I hope this helps! Nadar
Thank you very much Dan I do not understand what you mean by "snapshot work" and the the "undo brush". Can you explain it to me ? Thanks. Quote Ipad Affinity Photo
Staff Dan C Posted October 30, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 30, 2018 Snapshots are used with the undo brush to paint in early versions of the documents pixels, for example using the burn brush tool changes the images pixels, so if you select a snapshot (the camera icon) in the history panel and then use the undo brush, it will revert the pixels in the image to before the tool was used, without undoing all of the pixel change. I've created a quick screen recording showing this in action- ScreenRecording_10-30-2018 13-09-16.MP4 Merton Dot 1 Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.
