Ive recently installed the latest AF update. Now I'm experiencing shocking lag when using large brush sizes, when | say large, i mean anything above 100 pixels. Its so slow to update its unusable. I also use Krita, which is free. I can use brushes right up to the max 1000 pixels with very litte lag, if any in Krita. I'm sure its not my hardware. My PC spec is resonably decent.... AMD 6 core, 3.9ghz processor, Radeon 4GHz graphics, 16 gig memory and all HD's are SSD. Does anyone know what the problem is?, I've tried all the suggested fixes, but still have this problem. Even tried photoshop, and no lag there either.  ps. I use a Huion Q11 K tablet with latest drivers, but its the same with the mouse as well. Thanks

Are you using the normal brush, or the remove background brush ? (that tool has lag for the calculations, in AP ). Have you tried using a non textured brush ? That is, just a round simple brush with flow and opacity. Which size is the canvas ?

You said..."now"...after latest AD update. You did not have the issue before, or you hadn't painted before with it?

AD, AP and APub. V1.10.6 (not using v1.x anymore) and V2.4.x. Windows 10 and Windows 11.
