Select pixels in multiple layers

Recommended Posts

Hi there!
I'm new in Affinity Photo and was wondering if this option exists.

I already can select pixels of one single layer using CMD + click over the layer (in mac).
I want to join selections of other layers to the current selection. I used to do this in Photoshop using SHIFT + CMD + click over the other layers (the cursor changes to a '+' icon). But this is not working in Affinity Photo.

Do you know if it can be done?

Thanks!!

When you have the selection tool selected you can use all layers or uncheck it to use whatever layer you have selected in the layers panel in the context menu just above the workspace.

Hi goojoob,

Welcome to the forums :)

If you group your pixel layers, then cmd click on the group icon, you should see a selection created of all pixels on all layers!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
